We groom the pile back the way it should lie and set up air movement so the piece dries evenly instead of drying in patches. Uneven drying is what causes rings, and it is entirely avoidable.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
Clear the piece of cushions you want moved, remote controls, throws and anything stored underneath. If a pet uses the sofa, say so when you book, because pet soil is treated differently from food and drink. If something was spilled, tell us what it was and whether anything was already put on it. A cleaner someone applied last month can change what we are able to do, and we would rather know.
Afterwards the piece will be damp to the touch and needs air moving over it before it goes back into heavy use. Keep pets off it while it dries. If you asked for a fabric protector, that goes on at the end, once the fabric is clean, because protector applied over soil simply locks the soil in.

Is upholstery cleaning safe for a household with a dog?
Our products are chosen with pets and children in mind and the piece is left to dry before it goes back into use. Keep the dog off the furniture until it is dry to the touch. If the dog is the reason you are calling, say so, because pet stain and odor removal is treated as its own job.
